The proposed Steel Innovation Centre consists of a state-of-the-art fabrication lab designed to facilitate innovation and collaboration in steel construction and design. Featuring a robust portal frame structure, the building offers expansive, column-free interiors optimized for large-scale fabrication processes.

THE TRAINING FACILITY
The training facility is a 10,000 sq. ft., 30-foot-high learning hub designed to support students at the Steel Innovation Centre. The space is crowned by a domed space truss, emphasizing its double-height design. On the second floor, a walkway wraps around two sides of the facility, seamlessly connecting to the adjacent classrooms while overlooking the facility’s first floor.
